Cranbourne Botanic Gardens
The Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens is a great spot to visit during the school holidays, with six kilometres of cycling tracks to explore, a lookout tower, picturesque shelters and barbecues for picnicking and playgrounds for the kids. Families can also jump on the Kids Explorer air bus, free for children during school holidays, and cruise through the colourful gardens in style.

With a performance by Enchanted Princesses along with craft activities and a fairy croquet course, pre-school-aged kids will love to attend this special event.

The folks at Connected Libraries will be hosting a special storytime event these school holidays. Bring along a picnic or pick up some yummy treats from the Gather Food Cafe on the day and enjoy 45 minutes of stories, songs and rhymes in the beautiful Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick.

It’s Showtime
Doveton Show
Sunday 22 September
Doveton Show is making its return this September! Held at Myuna Farm, the community event is organised and run solely by volunteers and aims to showcase and support the local community of Doveton and other community groups located in the City of Casey.
Expect a range of thrill and family rides, showbags, market and food stalls, stage and farm entertainment, kid’s activities and animal displays! Entry is free, with a gold coin donation encouraged.
Melbourne Royal Show

Another school holiday institution, the Melbourne Royal Show, is also back this spring! Families can expect show classics like fireworks, woodchop competition and wildlife demonstrations, plus some new and exciting additions including the Superdog Spectacular, BMX Stunt Show and much more!
