The festive season is a time for joy, connection, and generosity — but for many families in our community, it can also be a time of significant stress. As cost-of-living pressures continue to rise, more people than ever are turning to Community Information and Support Cranbourne (CISC) for help.

This year, Brown Property Group is once again proud to support CISC’s annual Christmas Drive. Together, we can help ensure that families across the Casey South community experience the warmth and hope of Christmas.

CISC’s Impact Over the Past Two Years

CISC is a local not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families through crisis situations with compassion, dignity, and practical support. Their impact over the last two years speaks volumes:

  • $673,000 worth of food and petrol vouchers
  • 2,325 food parcels distributed
  • $63,090 to keep children from 285 families in education
  • $353,490 in debt removed from struggling families
  • $20,415 toward short-term car registration
  • $29,610 in essential medication

These supports help families through difficult times, ensuring access to basic necessities, education stability for children, and relief from overwhelming financial burdens.

A Growing Number of Families Need Support

Since the pandemic, the number of people seeking assistance has increased significantly, and the demand continues to grow. In addition to the emergency relief provided, CISC has also:

  • Received 97,424 requests for information, referrals, and assistance
  • Provided counselling to over 656 individuals, couples, families, and children
  • Supported 608 clients facing complex financial and paralegal issues

These numbers highlight just how vital CISC’s services are to our community, especially during the holiday season when pressures often intensify.

Help Us Make Christmas Brighter for Local Families

Last December, generous community contributions helped CISC provide toys and hampers to almost 300 families. This year, with need on the rise, we are calling on our community to get behind this incredible initiative once again.

The final drop-off date for donations is Friday 12th December.
