Spring has sprung at Riverfield and it’s safe to say the construction team have been busy! The big news this month? Stages 28, 34, 35 and 36 are officially titled, which means you’re one step closer to calling Riverfield home.
With the new reserves now open and work on the community spaces at the heart of Riverfield coming to life, it’s an exciting time for everyone at our estate. Here’s a closer look at what’s been happening on the ground:
Stage Progress Update
Stages 28, 34 & 35
Earlier this year, stages 28 and 35 were under construction and 34 had just titled. We’re excited to announce that all three stages are complete and titled! Homes are now being built, and a whole new pocket of the Riverfield community is starting to take shape.
Stage 36
In our last construction update, we shared that the reticulation works, road boxing and pavement works, and first asphalt layer were next on the list. We’re proud to announce that construction has wrapped up and this stage is now titled, with the majority of lots already settled. Another huge milestone and we look forward to seeing the builds commence in the coming months.
Stage 37
This is the newest stage at Riverfield! The kerbs, power and communications phase have started. What’s up next? Asphalt has been scheduled for later this month, and construction is projected to be complete by the end of the year alongside titles following in January 2027.
Stage 38
Earthworks and sewer works have officially finished for this stage, with stormwater works currently in progress. Power works are scheduled for 26 November, and construction is anticipated to finish on 15 January 2027, with titles expected the following month on 12 Feburary 2027.
Stage 40
Construction has started, completion is forecast for April 2027 and titles for May 2027.
Community Updates
Melliodora Reserve and Flax Lily Reserve
Both reserves are complete and now open, which means the Riverfield community have even more spaces to enjoy!
Papaya Reserve
Works are underway with lots to come over the next few weeks. The reserve is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Signage will be installed at each reserve, sharing more about the meaning behind each name and the stories that have shaped the area, click here to find out more.
District Park
Earthworks are well underway and the design/layout for the park has been finalised. Once complete, the park will offer a diverse range of amenities including shelters, BBQ facilities, water play, a flying fox, quad swing, kickabout area, expansive playground and edible gardens – creating a vibrant space for the whole community to enjoy.
Wetland 7
Planning, design and approvals are underway. Wetland 7 is the wetland on your left as you drive towards the Riverfield Sales Office. It will become part of Riverfield’s wider network of open spaces and wetlands.
Ballarto Road/ Timberwolf Drive intersection (INS31)
The intersection is now complete and open! This connection provides access into Riverfield from Ballarto Road, improving connectivity and supporting the continued growth of our community. Timberwolf Drive is undergoing construction stays closed until 20th November.
Ballarto Road/ Ernstbrook Drive intersection (INS34)
Works have started and are progressing, with completion expected before the end of the year. We wanted to flag that a portion of Ballarto Road will be closed from 19 October to 20 November while these works are completed, so please plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
Plenty is happening behind the scenes, and we’re happy with the steady momentum across the community. We’ll continue to keep you updated as each stage progresses and more milestones are achieved.
