In exciting news for future Riverfield residents, Clyde Secondary College is set to receive $20.6 million for their Stage 2 build! The news comes after an announcement visit from Education Minister Natalie Hutchins along with local MPs, Jordan Crugnale and Pauline Richards early last week.

“We are thrilled to receive confirmation of our Stage 2 funding which will give us new classrooms and a Visual Arts Centre,” said Principal Kondilo Prades.

Not just limited to academic facilities, the funding will also cover the creation of a new sports oval and additional hardcourts, much to the excitement of the students.

Clyde Secondary College, which commenced operations in 2022, is progressively growing with the addition of a new year level each year. By 2026, the school will have students in every year level and will be able to cater to 1,300 students, including 100 places for students with disabilities.

Jordan Crugnale MP remarked, “This growing school community has fostered a caring, inclusive, creative, and supportive environment, and I am thrilled that we can deliver Stage 2. Thank you to all the teachers and support team who put their hearts into nurturing and inspiring the students.”
