Embrace the magic of the season at the City of Casey’s Winter Arts Festival! Now in its 21st year, the festival will be held from Thursday 15 June to Sunday 30 July, offering locals the chance to experience the rich arts and culture Casey has to offer.

The festival has been created with the community at its heart. From workshops and performances to exhibitions and activations, there’ll be events for all ages to enjoy. Some of the highlights include:

Seussical presented by Windmill Theatre Company

Fri 9 June – Sun 18 June

For a strictly limited season, Seussical is playing at Bunjil Place Theatre. Based on the collective works of Dr Seuss, this musical spectacle is fun for the whole family.

Botanic By Night

Fri 23 June – Sun 25 June & Thurs 29 June – Sat 1 July

Experience Wilson Botanic Park in a whole new way, with an incredible laser light show to be held over two weekends in the winter school holidays!

The park’s amphitheatre will host the main show, but visitors will be able to watch it from anywhere around the lake, providing an unparalleled view of the stunning display. There will also be creative light installations around the grounds to enjoy.

Tasty winter treats will also be available for purchase on the night. And rest assured, rain or shine, this captivating event will go ahead – in fact, laser lights bouncing off the rain only adds to the mesmerising spectacle!

Lost Dogs’ Disco

Sat 24 Jun – Sun 16 Jul

Calling all dog lovers! This winter a pack of dogs are moving into the Bunjil Place Plaza to have some fun. The Lost Dogs’ Disco is an immersive temporary sculpture installation that celebrates the important furry friends in our lives. You’ll spot some familiar faces, from poodles to dachshunds, with some sculptures up to 5.5m tall!

Other events happening as part of this fantastical disco include family-friendly movie nights and a spectacular launch event on Friday 23 June, complete with party tunes and doggie-themed food and drinks.
